In the song 'Lipstick' Willow talks about coming into your own and spreading your wings. Her beautiful and prominent vocals are accompanied by insane guitar and drums. This song gave me a feeling of power and strength with a sprinkle of femininity. I wanted to convey the energy of a dark fairy.

 

In the process of production, I took a trip to New York's fashion district to source all fabrics and hardware from places such as Mood Fabrics, (Spandex House and Pacific Trim to name a few). For this look I used grey lining and chiffon for the ball gown skirt. I used pink satin with spike studs for the corset, along with faux leather lacing with gromets along the backside. Lastly, I used black stretch cotton jersey for the body suit.
